Small Market ERP & Compliance
A ‘medium’ 
[insert eye roll here] version of compliance. Put on by a company I have never heard of (Epicor) that seems to be a ERP small market player. Anyway the first 30 min was an analyst discussion of the space … here were the notables:
- *sox - private or public - private - those looking to be acquired have to toe the line prior to acquisition
*Key Enablers: ERP configuration, Reporting solutions, ECM, Role based workflow (ie BizTalk)
*Nice slide on the regulatory landscape
*Valid Point on Why Companies Invest — Manaul compliance is expensive compliance … automate / configure … this effort isnt going away
*Capabilities of compliance - visability, controls, records management, risk management intg, fraud prevention watchdogs
*Epicore built a SPS based Dashboard for Compliance - Data comes from a variety of areas
